INTRODUCING....."Liquid Lipstick" .....its lipstick in a tube...lipstick in liquid form....

Are you feeling like a little fierce kitty cat? Name of this color is "the cat's meow"

This color reflects different shades of pink, lavender, and slight blue hues, great for a effortless ponytail day, Uggs, and some gold hoops....this "first ladies" lippie is called "Prima Donna"

Or you may be feeling like you need a much needed vacay.....picture yourself laying out on the beach in Jamaica, Montego Bay, or St. Thomas.....well for now we will keep it in the States so I think I will call you "Summer in Miami"...a beautiful orange with gold undertones

I think I'll take this moment to pat my own self on the back....pat.....pat....pat pat pat! Oh and while I'm giving kudos let me just throw a toot toot in there so that I can toot my own horn. FINALLY! I believe I have finally come up with a consistency that is smooth, soft, moisturizing and enriched with Vitamin E, and semi-sticky enough to be able to say that I HAVE A BASE!!! I'm so excited because a lip gloss base is nothing to play around with and no easy task so lets make a color shall we?

As of right now this is my fave nail polish color I have no idea what the name of the color is I just know that I love this color so I think I'll try to duplicate a lip gloss color similar to this matching nails and lips are super cute and super #Mod! Ima work on making that #trending ...ha

Here are some of my ingredients that goes into this original and innovative base...a base that I guarantee no one else has because I created it myself

Everything has to be measured out properly and accurately I love my little scale its so cute

I do not want the base of these lippies to be running down your chin and neck and eventually greasing up your shirts so I need to make sure the base is thick enough

Hmmm that looks about right ok so now lets add some color.  Every lippie color I use are all FDA approved raw powdered pigmented dyes. I blend an array of colors together to come up with my own custom colored lippie

YUP! YUP!!! annnndd I think I'll tube it ;-)....Sooooooo its not QUITE the color of the nail polish bottle but it'll do....very very pretty on!

I always swatch before I tube lippes so that I can make sure the color and thickness is to my true  hearts desire and I believe with these two colors my hearts desire has DEF been fulfilled!!

If I read one more darn thing on "how to" I am going to scream...in fact, I think I'll take this opportunity to let it out right now AARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! For the past several months I have been reading and reading and researching on how to make the most FAB lippies for you guys....and for me of course! Making sure everything is FDA approved, making sure everything is natural, making sure the product is moisturizing, what oils are the best oils, what flavors are the best flavors, and most of all making sure that your freaking lips wont fall off your face due to some uncommon disease of the lips due to the misappropriation of chemicals. YIKES!!! I can't even bear to think of that. With that being said, its been hard. But i must say that I feel this inner strength on the inside of me to keep pushing and this strength drives me to keep going at it so that I can fulfill my dream. There is alot when it comes to the cosmetic industry. Its not about just going in your kitchen and mixing Vaseline and eye shadows together to create this FAB color. NO!!! that is waaaay to arts and crafty for teenagers. Anybody can do that. Babes can do that! his is about coming out with my OWN product and making sure every last single ingredient in these lippies serve a purpose. I have compared oils, compared bases, created my own bases, compared pigments, compared dyes, compared micas, compared consistencies I have compared all things! Needless to say I should have been a dag on chemist if I would have known if it was going to require all this! But nonetheless, I am in this for the long haul and I am expecting the very greatest. ModGyls, I'll keep you posted on the process......pray for me lol!
